Sandon Hall will throw open its doors to the general public on the afternoon of Sunday June 9.
The Hall and Gardens, not normally open to the public, will be available to explore. Visitors will be able to look around the various State Rooms and learn about the Hall’s history and the Harrowby family. The Family Museum, with a vast array of items from the past, including duelling pistols, recruitment posters from the two World Wars and ball gowns, will also be open.
Visitors are then welcome to walk around the Gardens, beautiful throughout the year but particularly so in early summer.
The Open Day runs from 1pm until 4pm – last admission 3.30pm. Adults £5, Concessions £4, Children £3. Babies free. Family (2 Adults and 3 Children) £15. Refreshments available. Dogs welcome in Gardens – please keep them on a lead and clean up after them.
