Summer is officially on the way and so is the time to put the kettle on and raise a cuppa to your local Hospice. Throughout June Katharine House Hospice is asking members of the local community to get together with friends, neighbours, family or colleagues and have a cuppa to raise money for vital Hospice care.
The Hospice is asking readers to celebrate the great British Summer by hosting their own “Big Cuppa” tea party or a simple get together with friends and make a donation to the Hospice. Local Tea party organisers are urged to ask their guests to make a donation to the Hospice for their refreshments.
Katharine House hospice Community Fundraiser Amy Ratcliffe said:
“Last year the community came together to raise over £5,000 for the Hospice simply by having a cup of tea with friends, family, work colleagues and neighbours – incredible!”
“Big Cuppa” is being sponsored by the Original Cupcake Company, Stafford. Ann Ager of the Original Cupcake Company said “helping our local community is definitely our cup of tea. We are delighted to be able to support such an important cause as Katharine House Hospice in this way”
Supporters will also be able to enjoy a refreshing cuppa whilst browsing the huge selection of bargains on offer in several of the Katharine House Hospice shops on Friday 21st June .
