Children can enjoy a wide range of sports courses and activities this May Half Term (Tuesday 28 to Friday 31 May 2013) with Stafford Borough Council’s ‘Get Out’ programme.
In Stone there will be an introduction to bowls at Little Stoke Bowls Club and Alleyne’s Sports Centre will host Footie Fest delivered by Sports Development coaches, Tri-Active and swimming pool activities including the Double Trouble giant inflatable obstacle course, snorkelling, fun float sessions, swimming lessons and free swimming for 15 year olds and under.
At Stafford Leisure Centre there will be dance mats and games in the H-Zone interactive children’s gym, Game On multi-activity days with Sports Development coaches and swimming pool activities including the giant inflatable, fun float sessions, a lifeguard course and free swimming for 15 year olds and under.
‘Footie Fest’ sessions will be taking place on the 3G Pitch at Rowley Park Sports Stadium. There will also be the mobile skate park at Hixon and basketball taster sessions and multi-sports days at Sir Graham Balfour High School.
