At Oulton Abbey Playgroup the children have been taking advantage of some brief interludes of fine weather to visit the Abbey ducks and ducklings and to do some more planting. The Abbey is holding its annual Garden Party on Saturday 15th June starting at 2 p. m.
This is an opportunity to visit the playgroup as well as to see the Abbey church and grounds enjoy the usual attractions of plant stall, raffle and much more. The playgroup is open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon Monday to Friday mornings during term time, with lunch club from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a. m. to 2 p.m. and is open to children between the ages of 3 and 8 years old. There will be indoor and outdoor activities and a light snack will be provided. Children should bring a packed lunch.
