The Key Stage 2 mixed Kwik Cricket teams have batted and bowled their way to success in the Stafford Schools Partnership tournament at Milford Hall Cricket Club. The tournament on Tuesday 4th June was an opportunity for teams to compete in group stages against five other schools, and show off their skills.

After completing five matches in their opening rounds, both the A and B teams, from years 5 and 6, topped their individual groups to progress to the final of the competition. The final was a close cut match with no quarter given between the two Christ Church teams, both eager to take the first place title. Mr Penk P.E Teacher said ‘There was a great team spirit throughout the competition and all the boys played brilliantly to ensure we ended up in the final. Finishing in first and second place is a fantastic result, not only this but the winning team will now progress to the county final.’ Well played everyone.
