There will be a Mammal Walk on Rough Close Common on Sunday 16th June between 10 am and 12noon.

The event is free and is the first event of its kind at the Common and a great opportunity to learn more about small mammals from the experts.

Members of Staffordshire’s Mammal Group will be leading a guided walk around the Common to find out more about the small mammals that live there – such as voles, mice, shrews, and possibly reptiles. Joining them will be Bill Waller, Biodiversity Officer of Stafford Borough Council who will be able to provide insights about the management of the Common and the other wildlife present.

Please meet at the St Matthew’s School car park on Common Lane, Rough Close, ST3 7NE.
