Staffordshire Wildlifes mid-week volunteers are back at our Jackson’s Coppice and Marsh reserve near Eccleshall, this time giving the area around the boardwalk a bit of a summertime clean-up!
This recently installed boardwalk takes you into Staffordshire’s answer to the everglades- a magnificent wet woodland of alder with it’s own distinct flora and fauna. Pause for a while on the bridge over the stream and if you’re lucky enough you might just spot a dragonfly or damselfly!
If you love dragonflies and damselflies but can’t get to Jackson’s anytime soon, don’t worry! There’s still places left on our FREE dragon and damselfly walk at Doxey Marshes in Stafford on Saturday 13th July. All the details for this can be found on our website here: http://www.staffs-wildlife.org.uk/article/what-s-on-next/view/dragonfly-and-damselfly-walk
