Frank Phillips, was a woodwork teacher at Granville Secondary Modern School from 1948 until it merged with Alleyne’s School in 1969 to form the comprehensive Alleyne’s High School.  He carried on teaching there until his retirement in 1982.  The article provoked a great deal of interest and a blizzard of correspondence, so here is a further selection of Frank’s photographs of staff and pupils at Granville Secondary Modern.  As ever, if you have any further information, or if you can put names to any unidentified faces (and correct any  mistakes) please do get in touch with us.
