What’s on for kids over the Summer holidays

Children can enjoy a wide range of sports courses and activities this summer with the ‘Go Get Out’ holiday activity programme run by Stafford Borough Council.

There’s the popular Star: Track Athletics, Mobile Skate Park, Footie Fest, Disability Football, Bowls, Cycling, Basketball, Disability Trampolining and new Multi Mix activity days – as well as a series of Sky Ride Local bike rides.

At Stafford Leisure Centre there will be dance mats and games in the H-Zone interactive children’s gym, Hang Time multi-activity days and swimming pool activities including the giant inflatable, float fun sessions, a lifeguard course and free swimming sessions for 15 year olds and under.

There’s Active8 multi-activity days, Tri-Active and swimming pool fun at Alleyne’s Sports Centre with the Double Trouble giant inflatable obstacle course, snorkelling, float fun sessions, swimming lessons, a lifeguard course and free swimming sessions for 15 year olds and under.

There’s fun at Stafford Castle with a Treasure Quest, Medieval Mischief, Arty Crafts, Survival secrets, Glorious Games and much more.
