Calling all dog lovers!

Caudwell Children beneficiary Lexi-Jean Thwaites from Biddulph with dog Indie

Dog lovers from across the region are being invited to join Staffordshire’s biggest and best new charity dog walk, set to take place at The Trentham Estate next month.

The 2013 ‘Pooch Mooch’ is the brainchild of local dog fanatic and champion fundraiser, Amanda Williams, who has organised the event in support of local charity, Caudwell Children. Amanda, an Executive Assistant at GSH Group on Festival Park, said: “Besides my family, my two greatest passions are my dogs and helping disabled children so a charity dog walk seemed like the natural thing to organise.”

A choice of walks will take place on Sunday 22nd September around the picturesque Trentham Estate with hundreds of canine enthusiasts expected to take part.

The event has been sponsored by GSH Group, Burns Pet Nutrition and Venture Print Management. Each of the canine entrants will receive a goody bag and entry into Trentham’s Italian Gardens is included in the entry fee.

“I’m delighted that we have partnered with the Trentham Estate to hold this inaugural walk, it provides a beautiful backdrop for what’s set to be a fantastic event.” added Amanda.

Entry into the Pooch Mooch costs just £11.00 for adults and £7.00 for children and includes entry into the Italian Gardens and a free goody bag. All profits from the event will be donated to Caudwell Children to provide practical and emotional support for disabled children and their families.
