Back to Netball is a scheme aimed at women, aged 16 years and older, who have stopped playing netball. All sessions are taken by qualified coaches and the emphasis is on providing a fun and friendly environment. The sessions are a great way to keep fit and make new friends. There are over 100 Back to Netball sessions running around the UK all with the aim of getting women back into and enjoying netball. Having this year been awarded the ‘Best Sport Project’ in the National Lottery Awards, more women than ever are getting back into the sport.   We are delighted to announce that a new session will be coming to coming to Stone in October. Sessions will be held at Alleynes Sports Centre, Oulton Road, Stone, ST15 8DR on a Thursday evening, starting the 3rd October and will run from 8.00 – 9.00 pm, the cost is £3.00.   Girls and ladies over the age of 16 are invited to come along to the sessions which provide a gentle re-introduction to the sport, and are perfect if you’ve not played in years. Everyone will be beginners, so come along, get fit, have some fun and make some new friends. Your first session will be FREE so why not bring a friend and come along?   If you would like more information about the sessions then please contact Stacy Mound; Netball Development Officer for Staffordshire & South Staffordshire on email: stacy.mound@englandnetball.co.uk or telephone: 07545 924957.
