Emma Bridgewater have donated 18 of their iconic Royal Baby ½ pint mugs that commemorate the birth of Prince George to Stone Brownies.

The Stone St Michaels Brownies, based in Westbridge Park, decided to have the special party following the excitement within the group of the birth and initially contacted Emma Bridgewater to see if they could buy something small that could be given out to all of the brownies during the festivities.

Leigh Willott, Design Studio Manager, commented: “When Helen, Brown Owl, contacted me to see what she could purchase to give to her brownie group we thought what a lovely idea and wanted to help with her celebrations by giving something special as a keepsake.”

Helen Whetnall, Brown Owl of Stone Brownies, said: “The Brownies wanted to celebrate the birth of Prince George in some way so I contacted Emma Bridgewater to see if we could buy something small maybe a key ring that could be given to each of them as a memento. We couldn’t believe the generosity of Emma Bridgewater and didn’t expect them to donate a mug for each of the girls. The mugs will really make the party special for the brownies and I am sure that they will be cherished.”
