Samantha Rowley and Matt Pimble

One of theNursery Nurses (Samantha Rowley) Springfields Day Nursery Eccleshall, and a parent of the nursery (Matt Pimble) have done gone that extra mile – they have both shaved their hair off to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Samantha has also donated her hair to the Little Princesses Trust to have wigs made for children that have unfortunately lost their own to illness.
Samantha added “I have had the urge to fundraise for a while and recent events in my life and the lives of others around me have helped me to make my decision.”
Matt said “Both my children attend Springfields Day Nursery. My wife and I feel they are doing an amazing job raising money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital therefore we wanted to support them so I too am shaving all my hair off for this wonderful cause.”
Every team member at Birmingham Children’s hospital from Doctors and Nurses to Porters and Caterers play a vital role and we would like to say thank you!
The room was full of emotions today and lots of tears were shed – over £1000 has been raised so far and donations are still coming in. A big thank you to everyone who has donated. Springfields Day Nursery is honored to have such amazing people.
