Katharine House Hospice has launched a colourful new event to help celebrate its 25th Anniversary. The Splatter Dash will see intrepid (ED is intrepid the right word – unhinged feels better!) supporters pelted with coloured powder on a fun 3k assault course. Events fundraiser James Lunney said “It’s not a race, there are no prizes for placing 1st and no clocks to keep your time. It’s not about who’s fittest, it’s all about having FUN. Follow the 3K cross country course tackling the array of obstacles (all optional). If that’s not enough fun, you’ll be splattered with coloured powder at stations on route which will turn your white t-shirts into an explosion of colour”.

The course will be situated at the Project Paintball site at Lower Drayton farm – on the A449 between Stafford and Penkridge. The event takes place on Sunday 23rd March. Along the 3k one lap course a selection of fiendish (but optional) obstacles including a climbing wall, monkey bars, crawl nets and tunnels will be placed to add to the fun.

Over 150 people of all ages have already signed up. Registrations are now open for the event which costs £10 for under 16’s, £15 for over 16’s and groups of 6 or more at £10 per person. You can register by phoning the Fundraising Team on 01785 270808 or register online at http://www.khhospice.org.uk/
