Katharine House Hospice is calling on supporters to open their gardens this summer to help raise funds in this, the Hospice’s 25th year of providing care. In previous years, garden owners have charged a small admission fee to their gardens to help raise funds for Katharine house Hospice whilst visitors admired the fruits of their labour.

Kat Hindmarsh, Hospice fundraiser said: “every year our supporters amaze us at the levels they go to – open gardens have become real community days where neighbours, friends and visitors alike help us to raise vital funds by supporting the beautiful gardens”

“With Spring just around the corner, we would urge interested local gardeners to get in touch. In opening their garden gates to the public they are making a real difference to the lives of our patients and their families”
