Stone and Eccleshall Brownies have kicked off their 100th Birthday Celebrations early with their very own Brownies Got Talent show.

The acts ranged from 4th Stone Brownies with ‘Disney Divas’, Eccleshall Brownies with ‘Brownies Got Talent’, 2nd Stone Brownies with ‘Best Brownies Ever”, Woodseaves Brownies with “Doggy Dancers and the winning unit were 1st Walton Brownies with their own version of a well known Guiding song ‘Tails’ complete with tails, face paint and props.

The show was very well attended by family and friends and over £130 was made on the night towards the Big Brownie 100th Birthday celebrations . The new trophy is in memory of Jose Harvey who was Staffordshire’s longest serving member of Guiding.

Jose had been a Brownie at Oulton when she was just seven and in 1996 was awarded the Staffordshire County Award for having been in Guiding for over seventy years. Jose loved her Brownies and her Guiding and she would have loved the enthusiasm , hard work and fun that the Brownies put into their Talent Show.

Well done to all who took part!
