Stone Guides aim high!

1st Stone Guides are seen here being presented with their BP Challenge Award Badges and certificates at a recent ceremony held at Guide HQ, Westbridge Park. This is the highest award that you can be awarded as a Guide and all of the girls had completed challenges over a period of two years.

Activities ranged from : taking part in The Race for Life, taking up a new hobby, investigating Fair Trade, passing their Agility Badge, helping plant trees at Trentham and the final section of the Award was to take part in a residential weekend, working alongside Guides from across the County.

The Guides offer girls from age 10 + the chance to take part in lots of amazing activities such as: canoeing, rock climbing, crafts, arts , camping and various international opportunities. This Summer the Guides are off to Unity, Staffordshire’s own International camp which is being held at Shugborough with Guides from across the globe in attendance.

Stone and Eccleshall Girlguiding Division offer a varied and exciting programme for girls aged 5 up to 25 years old:from Rainbows, Brownies, Guides right through to Senior Section. We warmly welcome adult volunteers as well.
