Here come the girls for the Mini Moonlight Walk

The Douglas Macmillan Hospice

Entries are now being taken for the most popular girls night out in Stoke on Trent .

The Mini Moonlight Walk is a ladies only event which takes place on Saturday 12 th July at 9.00pm from St Peter’s Academy , adjacent to Fenton Manor Sports Complex.

On the night , supporters will be able to dedicate a candle and handwrite their own personal message should they wish to do so.

Knights Mini are proudly sponsoring this year’s event again , and have kindly donated the very first 14 plate Mini Countryman to allow the Hospice to collect as many new and used bras in the build up to the event , as well as giving the opportunity to sign up to the event , whenever you see the car in North Staffordshire.

The Mini Moonlight Walk relies heavily on supporters gaining sponsorship in  that we can maintain the care we are renowned for .

Liz Clarke , Head of Fundraising said ;

“The Mini Moonlight Walk has become a major Fundraising event in our calendar .In previous years this event has attracted over 1,000 entries and last year we managed to raise just under £80,000 for the Hospice. We hope that as many supporters , old and new , will join us on this 7 mile walk around the city . We do thank Knights Mini for their sponsorship again and hope that we will be able to raise even more money this year , so that we can maintain the care we are renowned for .”

Supporters can register for the Walk by visiting www.dougiemacevents.co.uk or by ringing the Fundraising Team on 01782 344304 .
