A chance to see exciting, contemporary artworks celebrating the heritage of the Stafford town.
The STart Trail aims to promote some of the many historic buildings in and around the market square. The artworks by students on the Foundation Degree in Contemporary Art Practice at Stafford College will be exhibited in ten venues and lead you from one building to the next around the trail. The idea is to celebrate the history of Stafford and encourage residents and visitors to investigate some of the unique and beautiful buildings in the town.
Second year student Sam Mace said “In our busy lives it’s easy to miss the beautiful things around us. The trail is about taking time take a look and appreciate some of the lovely old buildings that we have in the town and getting to know them a bit more. We hope that all age groups will find something to enjoy.”
The trail will be launched at the Ancient High House at 10.30am on Saturday 22nd March and will run until the 30th March.
Maps will be available at venues and a full list of participating venues can be found on the Facebook page ‘The STart Trail.’
