On 25th May 2014 Stone Master Marathoners will be re-running the Flying Fox Marathon, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of it last being run and raise some money for three worthy causes, The Gingerbread Centre for homeless families, Douglas Macmillan Hospice and Katherine House Hospice.
The course starts and finishes in Knighton and is a single lap course through quiet country lanes in Staffordshire and a little bit of Shropshire with some fantastic views of the Welsh mountains en route. The course is officially measured and run under UK Athletics rules.

Stone Master Marathoners cater for adult runners of all abilities, with general running, performance and speed sessions on Wednesday at 1830, longer runs on Sunday at 0800 and 0900, and qualified coach led beginners sessions on Thursday at 1830, meet at Stone Lawn Tennis Club, Newcastle Road, Stone.
