During his recent four-month stay in China, Staffordshire University graduate Philip Wiseman set himself a challenge. Besides teaching photography and English classes to students in Henan province, he and his best friend Liam took daily photographs capturing the essence of Chinese culture, scenery, politics or their experience of life in China on that particular day.

“We have turned this day-by-day retrospective into a Facebook page called ‘128 Days of China,”

said, Philip, who returned in January.

“ We have been uploading a new, high quality image every day since 3rd February this year. The page is a creative way to interact with like-minded people and also a means of promoting ourselves as competent creative photographers,”

Philip continued.

“The photographs are to a professional standard and represent an honest view of China that most people will have never seen before. ‘128 Days of China’ currently has over 250 page likes with a reach of around 3,000 views per week.”
