Trading hours have been extended and the venue will be now be open on Sundays, a new laid back menu has been introduced for the evenings to be a contrast to the a la carte restaurant and the Directors are looking to recruit around ten more staff to add to the team.
Sunday opening is totally new to The Post House; previously Sunday doors only opened for private functions such as weddings or large celebratory parties. The Directors have launched the new trading day in-line with the demand of the clientele and the burgeoning business.
“There has been so much demand for Sunday opening that we listened and have extended our hours to create an environment where you can kick back, relax and chill over a delicious and traditional Sunday lunch. It’s perfect for after that big Saturday night out, or maybe a busy Sunday morning,”
explains Daniel Foster, Managing Director.
The new evening menu has been devised with Stafford in mind and for those who want a more laid-back dinner after work, rather than a formal affair. The menu has been designed to be accompanied by seasonal cask ales, a glass of wine or soft drink.
“It’s a menu that is accessible, affordable and produce is locally sourced. We have designed a seasonal feel to it, with example dishes of the moment including black pudding and red onion tarte, wild mushroom and filo baskets, pork and stilton sausage and mash and meatballs in a rich tomato sauce. Two courses cost just £9.95.”
To ensure that the customer service and the award-winning standards of food remain excellent, the Directors have decided that they need to expand their team by approximately ten new members.
“We are looking for more waiting on staff and a restaurant manager predominantly, to enable us to open additional hours, offer a wider variety of menu and manage the growing clientele that are visiting us.We are delighted with The Post House success and look forward to the years ahead in the heart of the new developments of the town.”
