Over the Easter weekend Tylman of Stone ran a children’s colouring competition, to coincide with the town centre traders Easter Egg Hunt. Both events were a great success, leaving the town centre buzzing with youngsters on the lookout for letter clues hidden in the shops, that once completed, they could exchange for an Easter Egg.

Claire at Tylman of Stone said “We had a fantastic response to the colouring competition, and the standard of all entrants was very high, making it a difficult job for the judges to pick a winner!”.  But judge they must as there were two £10 Gift Vouchers up for grabs. The judges chosen for the task were local artist Rita Banks, who chose Beatrice Clarke aged 9 as the winner in the age 7-11 range, and Dan Mitchell from here at the Gazette who chose Toby Flower aged 6 as the winner in the age 3-6 range. Well done to all who entered.
