Christ Church Academy Year 7 pupils braved the elements over the last two weeks, to enjoy two extremely educational and fun visits to Warwick Castle. The pupils saw the awesome power of the trebuchet, roamed the keep and battlements of the castle, interacted with the ‘Horrible Histories’ team and saw the impressive birds of prey spread their wings. Some of the braver pupils even took the terrifying trip into the castle dungeons and all that lay within. Mr K Healey Head of Humanities said ‘The pupils had great fun; they experienced their classroom learning in a real medieval setting and were a credit to themselves and the school.’
