Girls nearly get snowed on up Snowden!

photoOn Sunday 15th June, 20 girls from Girls-Train2, the girls only boot camp held at Stone Tennis club, walked up Snowdon to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.

The pictures were taken at the base before and after the ascent, but in between it hailed, rained and was seriously windy, Suzanne said

‘We have never been so cold, it was unexpected as the previous day it was so warm & the weather was great as we set off. We walked to raise money for Breast Cancer Research, raising almost £2000 for one of our ladies Pat Jones 68 from Barlaston, who after having breast cancer has spent the past 8 years raising funds for the charity & also volunteers in the Cancer Research Charity Shop in Stone.

imageUnfortunately Pat having broke her foot had to go up on the train, the youngest girl was my daughter Georgia Oldfields age 17 the eldest Pat Chetwyn age 72. We have adopted Breast cancer research as our charity for this year and we have 16 girls running JCB mud run on 5th July hoping to add to our total’
