Staying Safe Online

Year 8 pupil Luke Barber, creating his E-safety competition entry.

From the 2nd-6th June, Christ Church Academy has been running their annual E-safety week. Throughout the week there has been advice for parents and pupils about staying safe online, E-safety videos shown in assemblies, and competitions running for children to showcase their computer programming skills they have learnt in lessons, with the winner receiving a raspberry pi.

Mr G Coulson, Head of Computing said

‘The pupils at the Academy are really excited about programming, and are keen to use their new skills to teach others about E-safety.’
