Public Invited to Annual General Meeting

Local people in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent are being invited to find out more about the UK’s largest integrated health and social care NHS Trust at its Annual General Meeting.

Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust is to hold its AGM on Wednesday 3 September at Tillington Hall Hotel, Stafford from 5pm – 7pm.

The meeting will highlight the variety of health and social care services available to local families including health visiting, school nursing, lifestyle services, adult social care, community hospital care, district nursing, physiotherapy, prison care, rehabilitation and much more.

Guest will be given the opportunity to hear about the Partnership Trust’s new approach to handling complaints with the implementation of an independent complaints review panel. The Trust’s first cohort of health care apprentices will also be in attendance to discuss the success of the Partnership’s Apprenticeship Academy.

The AGM will additionally include a market place displaying services from across the community with member of staff including nurses, social care staff, health care advisors and corporate teams on hand to discuss their work over the past 12 months.

Professor Nigel Ratcliffe, Chairman of the Partnership Trust said:

“The Partnership Trust has made significant steps forward in the past years having successfully embedded our integrated local care teams across Staffordshire.

“Our ‘Raising Concerns’ campaign and general approach to providing an open and transparent culture has also picked up pace with a new independent complaints review panel.

“Myself and fellow members of the Trust Board welcome members of the public, services users, carers and member of staff to join the AGM to celebrate this progress and look forward into how we can continue to provide high quality health and social care in the community to enable local people to live healthy, fulfilling and independent lives.”
