The evening, entitled ‘Follow your Dream’ to reflect the motto of Lions Clubs International President Lion Barry Palmer, raised an incredible £1,977.45 for the charity.
Lion Chris was delighted by the success of the evening.
“It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves in such beautiful surroundings. Newlife is an exceptional charity which guarantees that 100% of each donation received from the public is spent where it is most needed – on the children. The Lions of District 105BS have helped me to follow my dream of helping these very special children by providing them with the equipment achieve their full potential and together we have raised in excess of £12,500 this year.”
