A big thank you to Gazette readers from Trinity Skills for Life

Trinity-Skills-Article-Sep-Edition-2014The last few weeks have been a hub of excitement and activity for all at Trinity Skills for Life; we have performed, sang and signed our way through our very special events, barely stopping for breath and our students have proved to us that yet again they can achieve anything that they set their minds to.

The performing Arts group’s poignant show ‘Day by Day’ commemorated World War One and gave us all opportunity to think about those who fought for our freedom. Our talented Signed Choir went to Longton Park bandstand and signed to songs and enjoyed a picnic with the audience after.

Last but not least our much anticipated progress evening wrapped up the years events in style with a visit from the Mayor, and also, due to a teeny tiny equipment malfunction, a visit from the local fire brigade! A big thank you to them for saving the day!

We would like to thank everyone who attended our events, the kind support from the venues, all of the volunteers and staff who helped out and the whole community of Stone for their co-operation in all that we do.
