Children’s charity announced as partner for law firms charity shoot

corporate-1A national children’s charity has been announced as the charity partner of a locally based solicitor’s clay pigeon shoot.

ORJ Solicitors of Stafford have pledged to raise money for national children’s charity Caudwell Children through their Shooting Stars clay pigeon shoot which takes place on Thursday, 11th September at Oakedge Shooting ground, Staffordshire, ST17OXS.

Caudwell Children work to provide practical and emotional support to families living with disabled children and ORJ hope to beat the £5000 raised at last year’s event.

Tom Hodgkinson, Relationship Manager for ORJ Solicitors, explained why they were raising money for Caudwell Children and their aim to beat their fundraising target:

“We’ve been involved with Caudwell Children in the past and found the experience very rewarding and enjoyable.

“Shooting Stars will be a lot of fun for the teams involved. It’s a chance for a bit of camaraderie between team mates, an opportunity to learn a new skill and of course raise money for an incredible cause.

“Last year we were able to raise £5000 from the event, but we’re confident we’ll beat that amount this year.”

Teams of three will compete against each other with up to twenty teams aiming to win the bragging rights on the day.

Kerrie Davies, Events Manager at Caudwell Children, said:

“We’re extremely grateful to ORJ Solicitors for continuing to support Caudwell Children.

“Events like Shooting Stars help bring together work teams and groups of friends to try something new and raise money for a great cause.

“All the money raised from the event will go directly to providing practical and emotional support to families living with disabled children so we’re appealing for teams to sign up.”

Teams of three are invited to enter at a cost of £250 per team. For more information or to enter your team contact Kerrie Davies on 01782 600651 or email Kerrie.Davies@caudwellchildren.com
