Coarse Fishing news from Seighford Lakes

Its been another fantastic week for Carp fishing this week, with plenty of good sized fish coming out. The Old Pool has continued to throw up some brilliant specimens including the Two pictured in this weeks report.

Phil Hammond from Stafford tore Old Pool apart on his first visit to Seighford Lakes this week. He landed 12 fish in total over 48 hours, the pictured 16lb being the biggest, just 1lb off his PB. All fish were caught using Mainline Boolies from peg 21.

Ryan Waller from Cannock caught the fish known as ‘Apple Slice’ this week, which weighed in at 16lb 3oz. Ryan caught using a Purple Monster Squid Boolie, this was one of 5 fish he landed on a short night session, all of his fish were caught from Baileys Peg in front of the lodge.

Best fish landed this week goes to Lee Bailey from Stafford who caught a very impressive 17lb 10 oz Common Carp from Baileys peg in front of the lodge.
