Residents of Stafford and the surrounding villages will have a chance to ask the group responsible for buying healthcare services for the area any questions they have, at their first Annual General Meeting next month.
Members of Stafford and Surrounds Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will use their first meeting to report back on their first year as a statutory body and address some of the future challenges facing the NHS both locally and nationally.
It will be held at Stafford’s Beacon International Centre on Tuesday September 16th, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm and as part of the meeting the CCG will present their first ever Annual Report and Annual Accounts.
Chair of Stafford and Surrounds CCG, Dr Anne-Marie Houlder, said:
“We have an exceptionally well-informed and highly engaged local population and are grateful for the time they have taken during our first year to contact us and share their views.
Our Governing Body meetings have always been well-attended, where the public have been given an opportunity to ask us about CCG business and hopefully our AGM will be the same.
The meeting will give people a chance to hear about our achievements over the last twelve months, the challenges we have faced and continue to face and what our vision is for the future.”
