A BRIGHT TOUCH FOR BARLASTON

Best-kept-VillageBarlaston’s ongoing bid to secure the title of Best Kept Village was recently given a boost thanks to two new wooden planters, which were donated to the village courtesy of David Wilson Homes.

Led by a group of committed volunteers, the Best Kept Village campaign sees local residents work closely together to ensure that it continually offers a welcoming environment for both citizens and visitors alike. The wooden planters are the latest step in helping to further enhance its appeal and have taken pride of place in the centre of the village.

Neil Hemmings, Clerk at Barlaston Parish Council, comments:

“I would like to thank David Wilson Homes for their generous donation. All of our volunteers work incredibly hard in ensuring that Barlaston is a safe and friendly place for all, and it is lovely to receive the planters in recognition of this. We encourage anyone who is interested in volunteering to get in touch with the Parish Council now.”

Nicky Phillips, Marketing Manager for David Wilson Homes, comments:

“Barlaston is a wonderful village, with a fantastic community spirit, which is why we are delighted to offer our support. We look forward to continuing to work with the Barlaston community in ensuring the village is recognised for the hospitable place that it is.”
