In 2015, Stone Country Market celebrates a quarter of a century of local marketing. Stone Country Market has a stall at Stone Farmers Market on the first Saturday of each month.
Originally part of the Women’s Institute, the markets are now part of the national organisation “Country Markets Ltd”.The country markets sell high quality home baked goods, preserves, home grown fruit, vegetables and plants and home crafted items. The customer can be assured that goods for sale meet stringent quality standards, are fresh, locally produced in domestic settings and reasonably priced.
Sales are buoyant – our customers appreciate the traceability of the goods on sale, and the fact that they can talk to the actual producer who may serve them at the market.
We very much believe in the Country Market movement and would like to see the Stone market flourish for at least the next 25 years. To meet this aim we are always on the lookout for new producers. Anybody who might be interested should come and talk to us at the Farmers Market where we can give you more details. This is a great way to make a little money out of a hobby or special interest.
Stone Country Market are always looking for more producers to ensure their success continues in the future. For more details email firstname.lastname@example.org
