WANTED: Strong male cast members for key roles in ‘A Chorus Line’


Stone Youth Theatre is on the hunt for talented young men to take on two key roles in its forthcoming production of ‘A Chorus Line’ at The Mitchell Arts Centre. Successful auditionees will join a brilliant cast due to start rehearsals in September. The roles they are looking to fill include:

1) strong male dancer and singer – possibly of ethnic origin – to play the part of:

RICHIE WALTERS: Male. Tenor. From Missouri. African-American, strong dancer, enthusiastic, cool and funny. Very likeable and laid back.


2) And a 16+ male with strong acting skills to play:

BOBBY MILLS: Male. Baritone. Flamboyant, funny, bitchy and witty. Very sharp tongued. Covers everything over with a joke, had a very hard childhood. From upstate New York.

Opportunities also exist for experienced musicians to form the Youth Theatre Orchestra to play for the shows and other events. Drummers, guitarists, keyboard players, Wind, Brass and percussion players – and anyone wishing to gain experience in Musically Directing a show and conducting the orchestra – Stone Youth Theatre wants to hear from YOU!
