Another big win for Stone, sees them scoring their 50th goal in 7 games. Stone Dominated from the off, on a rather small pitch the ball was played around the midfield and gave strikers Nat Price and Mollie Prime numerous shots on goal. Stoke Town Keeper was on form and was keeping the score at 0-0.
After a decent ball in from the left winger Holly Fowell, Mollie Prime was left unmarked in the box to make it 1-0. More goals came soon after again from Prime who scored 5 in total, more goals came from Winger Holly Fowell scoring 3 goals, 2 of which were directly from 2 corners, floating the ball perfectly over the keepers head and into the top corner twice. Central Midfielder Lauren Ward rounded up the first half goals with a header off another Stone corner half time 7-0.
After the break Stone continued to play well, again with managers Ash Thompson and Steve Armstrong making changes throughout the game. The goals continued to come for Stone with Nat Price scoring a couple of belters from outside the box giving the keeper no chance. Lydia Bennion headed home for her first of the game. After an attacking phase from Stone, Stone’s Midfield were caught napping and couldn’t get back to defend as Stoke Town made a quick break, this happened twice in 5 minutes giving Stoke 2 consolation goals. Stone responded in the best way with Mollie Prime wrapped up the scoring with her 5th goal of the game to make the final score 12-2. Player of the match was Jules Kendrick
