Barlaston Wassail raises funds for local charity

£168 was raised by The Barlaston Wassail on New Year’s Eve for Riding For The Disabled, N. Staffs branch, based at Fairoak, Eccleshall.

The money was raised in the Wassail’s raffle run by Vanetta Jervis and Judith Bradbury at the Duke of York Inn, Barlaston.

The prize – the  famous Tankard inscribed with a verse about 2014 village/ world news – was won by a Mrs Terri(y) Wilson of Stone.
