Get crafty for conservation at popular fayre – Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is inviting nature lovers searching for that unique gift for Mother’s Day to their Wolseley Centre HQ this weekend.

The nature conservation charity is holding its annual Craft Fayre on
Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March.

Stalls will be selling a wide range of handmade crafts including paintings, knitware and jewellery.

Sam Pachner, conference and events officer at Staffordshire Wildlife Trust said,

“This year’s Fayre promises to be bigger and better than ever with over 20 stalls selling some really amazing creations from local craftspeople and artists.”

Craft lovers can also explore the centre’s magnificent 26-acre grounds and put their feet up with a selection of hot or cold drinks.

Admission to the Fayre is £1.50, with proceeds going towards  the Trust’s work protecting and enhancing wildlife and open spaces in the county. Entrance for under 16’s is free.

The Craft Fayre runs between 10am and 4pm both days.

The Wolseley Centre is located at Wolseley Bridge on the A51 between Stafford and Rugeley.
