The fundraising team at Katharine House Hospice are on the final countdown to their annual ‘Grown Up Skool Disco’ on Friday 27th March at 7.30 pm.
The event which pays homage to the 80’s – the decade that style forgot, is to be held in the Ingestre Suite at the County Showground.
Supporters are invited to dig out their old school tie, crimp their hair and pull on those legwarmers to re-live the classic era as we take a nostalgic trip to the age of the mullet and shoulder-pads!. Pupils will be able to take part in an eighties quiz, enjoy a 2 course skool-dinner, as well as strut their stuff to their favourite 80’s skool tracks.
This year’s event is kindly sponsored by Voice2Voice Ltd, Stafford who are helping to protect every penny raised by the Skool Disco. Katharine House Hospice provides care and support for adults and their families across mid-Staffordshire coping with a progressive illness. It relies upon the generosity of the local community to help generate 75% of funds needed to run its range of vital services.
Hospice Fundraiser Hannah-Curlita Dennis says:

If you’re a girl who wants to have fun or a guy who likes to get footloose on the dancefloor then our skool disco is definitely for you. We look forward to welcoming supporters old and new to the event.’
