Mayor opens Rainbow Room at Eccleshall Pre School

The Mayor and Mayoress of Stafford officially opened a brand-new baby room at Eccleshall Pre School at a community event last weekend.

The couple were joined by more than 100 local families, businesses and staff members to celebrate the official opening of the new Rainbow room for 0-2 year olds at the Pre School, based at Eccleshall Community Centre.

Katie Brown, Manager at Eccleshall Pre School and eBASH, comments:

“We’re extremely grateful to the Mayor and Mayoress of Stafford for coming along to the event – it was a fabulous way to get members of the community together with all the local families to celebrate the launch of the new baby room.”

She added: “We’re especially thankful to all the local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle at the event, as well as James Du Pavey Estate Agents, who are the official sponsor of the new Rainbow Room for the month of February and sold raffle tickets at their Eccleshall branch. We operate as a charity overseen by a committee of parent trustees – so money raised from sponsorship and raffle prizes is extremely valuable to us at times like this when we have invested in developing our great new facility for babies and toddlers.”

Ms Brown concludes:

“We’d like to say a massive thank you to all the local busineses who donated raffle prizes for the event: Lex&Co, Butterley Barn Interiors, Bethan Ward of Eccleshall, Mr Simms, I Tech, Little Monsters of Eccleshall, Guys and Dolls, The Royal Oak, Sean Hirst, Neal’s Yard Remedies, Gentleshaw Wildlife Sanctuary and The Artisan.”

The Baby Room is already proving popular with local families – with a number of babies and toddlers already attending the new facility for children from the age of 6 weeks to 2 years old. Local families are welcome to call in to take a look around the Rainbow Room.
