STING, Staffs Therapeutic Independent Neurological Group (formerly known as SAMS), invited individuals and  representatives of groups who have supported them for coffee and mince pies at their last meeting of the year.

2014 has been a difficult year for the group following the withdrawal of MS-UK’s support in February. However like a Phoenix rising from the ashes STING has overcome its difficulties and is looking forward to 2015 with passion and enthusiasm.

STINGs coffee and mince pie morning gave the group the opportunity to thank their supporters in particular Charles Baines, the owner of Whitebridge Estate where STINGs centre is based, who has helped the group overcome several obstacles as well as Stone Lions, Stone Town Council ,Stone Round Table, Stone Festival Committee, Holistic Health Connection and Councillor Phillip Jones.

Phil Darby, the Whitebridge Estates Operations Manager, accepted a plaque on behalf of the Estate in recognition of the support the group has received.
