Conservative candidate Bill Cash holds Stone and will be returning to Westminster once again

Mr Cash has been the MP for the Stone constituency since 1997. This year he polled 25,733 votes to finish with a 16,250 majority, an increase of 4.1% on his majority from 2010.

In Second place was taken by Labours Sam Hale with 9,483 votes, down 0.5%

Then UKIP’s Andrew Illsley with 7,623 votes, up by 10.9%

Martin Lewis, Liberal Democrats, got 2,473 votes, down a massive 17.2%

Wenslie Naylon, Green Party, received 1,191 votes, up 1.55

and finally John Coutouvidis, Independent, who got 531 votes, up 1.1%

The count for the Borough and Town Council elections continues throughout today, and result are expected later at some point.
