Defibrillator Installed at Meaford Day Nursery

Untitled-1Meaford Day Nursery is one step ahead by being the first Nursery in Stone to have a life saving Defibrillator, to be accessible for use by the nursery and the local community.

Adele Cheadle Director of Meaford Day Nursery said

“It really is an honour to be the first Nursery in the area to be working with AEDdonate and SADS UK in a project to fundraise for a Defibrillator (AED) for use by the Nursery and Local community enabling the town access to a life saving piece of equipment”.

Cardiac Arrest is Britain’s biggest Killer 100,000 people die each year in the UK and it happens to all ages. The government has sent out a directive that ALL schools should have a AED on their premises due to 270 children suffering from a Cardiac Arrest within schools a year. If the defibrillator is placed onto the patient who is in Cardiac Arrest within 3 minutes they will have a 70% chance of survival.

We need the help of parents, families, friends and local community of Meaford Day Nursery to make this campaign go big! So if you would like to donate please use the crowdfunder link or by making a cash donation at Meaford Day Nursery, or perhaps you could come up with a fundraising idea?
