The Hilderstone based charity for people with learning disabilities are preparing to celebrate the 30th year since their foundation. 2016 will be a year of celebrations and looking forward to the future with the theme of ‘30 Years and Growing’. The Charity plans to offer a wider range of opportunities for its Team Members in the coming years.
To kick off the year the Charity are presenting ‘Musicals under the Stars’ at Sandon Hall on 11th September 2015. Songs from the world’s greatest musicals will be performed by past principal performers from Les Miserables, ‘Beyond the Barricade’. Andy Riess singer and director for ‘Beyond the Barricade’ visited the farm’s tea room recently, he said he was excited and delighted to be working with the Project, he added ‘the cakes were marvellous’!
Meanwhile things continue as normal, the farm’s annual Plant Day will take place on May 16th from 10am where you can get your basket and bedding plants. Team Members are busy potting up the plants and baking in the tea room ready for the day.
