With the new Petrol Engines on the boats at Clywedog Reservoir anglers were able to venture all round the lake which is what they did. 5 boats headed up the lake with 5 heading down well after Gaz turned around anyway.
First boat back to the jetty was Gaz Dixon and Gareth Jones who had taken their fish on Di 5’s and 7’s straight opposite the lodge a white Cat and Zonker were the key flies for winning the Scierra Reels.
Local anglers Wynn and Ken took the second spot catching their fish on fast glasses up the Bigeir Arm, Their best fly was a Orange Blob. Ceri and Evan took the final spot in the Rutland Water Final by taking a great bag of 16 fish from around the cages.
I would like to thank every for entering this heat and supporting the fishery and the Scierra Pairs . Llyn Clywedog is the most stunning place to fish and a MUST visit venue for ANY angler out there, go give it a go.
