Pupils from Christ Church Academy attended a special ceremony at Stone Community Fire Station. To celebrate the opening of the new facility, Stone Station Manager Dave Steele and his team invited the children to mark the occasion by burying their artwork and poems in a specially made time capsule.

The pupils were then treated to a behind the scenes tour of the engines and buildings whilst enjoying bespoke cupcakes and speaking to local firefighters. Principal Mr C Wright said

‘It was wonderful to be invited to mark this special occasion. The children thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon and we are most grateful to the staff at Stone Community Fire Station.’
