Rainbows have fun on their exciting and fun filled World Tour!

Over seven hundred Rainbows from across Staffordshire, including Rainbows from Stone and Eccleshall descended on Trentham Gardens last month to enjoy a whole day of wonderful activities .

The girls were issued with their very own passports as they ‘visited’ countries from across the globe including: Mexico, Switzerland, Africa, India and England (all of these countries have a World Guiding Centre). The Rainbows enjoyed Indian dancing complete with saris and bindis, icecreams and a Punch and Judy show in England, fun in the sand and piñata fun in Mexico, making lots of music with ‘boom whackers ‘in Africa and enjoyed a snowy, winter wonderland in Switzerland with games .

The girls were looked after by a very able ‘cabin crew’ which included Guiders, Trefoil Guild members and the Staffordshire Senior Section support team (aged 14-25) The event ended with a huge finale with Princess Georgie ( a friend of Elsa’s singing a medley of Disney songs). The sun shone all day and the event was judged to be a huge success by all the Rainbows who attended .
