Golf competition to raise money for the Nepal Earthquake Response Fund

On the 14th June, Izaak Walton Golf Cub held a Texas Scramble golf competition to raise money for the Nepal Earthquake Response Fund.

Nineteen teams of four took part each with a member of the Ghurka from QG SIGNALS Regiment. All participants thoroughly enjoyed the competition on a fair weather day.

Major Narayan Bhandari MVO, Quartermaster 22 Signal Regiment can be seen receiving a cheque for £1800.00 from the club Vice Captain Ken Bentley.

After the competition, the Ghurkas provided to all players with a variety of traditional Nepali food, which was enjoyed by all.
