Those looking for a sophisticated way to mark Halloween – and a great excuse to dress up – will be delighted to hear of a 20s themed murder mystery evening taking place at Aston Marina on Saturday, 31st October.
The evening will see you transported back in time to 1925; boarding a boat packed with a cast of VIPs, flappers, gangsters & molls. Following a drink on arrival, guests will be seated for a delicious three-course meal – but, within moments of the party getting started, a guest cabaret star will be brutally murdered. Will you be able to guess ‘whodunnit’ as the drama unfolds around you?
While promising plenty of fun, the event also has a serious side – proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Macmillan Cancer Support. Tickets are already being snapped up, and the ‘Murder on the Maiden Voyage’ theme is particularly fitting, as director Helen Webb explains:
“This will be the very first event held in our brand new, purpose built wedding and events venue, The Boat House, and we’re delighted that it is in aid of a charity as important as Macmillan – the work they do touches millions of lives. Whilst the fundraising is serious, the event itself is all about fun – the actors who will bring the murder mystery to life are fantastic and there will be laughs, shocks, twists and turns throughout what promises to be a very entertaining evening.”
Tickets for the event cost £45 per person, including drink on arrival and three course dinner – call 01785 819 702 to book.
