Kay Barr and Ed (Edna) Parker who are both volunteers at the Cancer Research Charity shop in Stone High Street, bravely had their heads shaved to raise money for the charity during the Stand Up To Cancer Campaign.
Hairdresser Kas Allen, from Twisted Ego hairdressers, wielded the shears outside the shop, in front of a crowd of supporters.
Kay had breast cancer 10 years ago and told the Gazette
“If it wasn’t for Cancer Research I wouldn’t be here”,
